MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, working 3 shifts per week with 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. The position requires maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities in line with staff education and experience, and providing direction and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care delivery.
• Anticipate and plan for safe patient care delivery.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities effectively.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in patient care activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Arizona RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a telemetry or medical-surgical setting.
• Ability to float between multiple departments and facilities.
