This is a 90-day contract position.

Schedule

Any 3 × 12 hr shifts × 36 hrs/week. Shifts may be a mix of 12-hour and 8-hour shifts, including days and evenings. There will be coverage required for every other weekend or every third weekend based on operational needs.

Job Description

The CT Technologist performs imaging procedures at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. The role involves competently executing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities

• Perform various CT imaging procedures to ensure high-quality diagnostic results.
• Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking in the execution of imaging techniques.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to protocols regarding ionizing radiation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care and treatment planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT Certificate or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Compliance with ACT 33 and ACT 73 clearances.
• GE Scanner experience is required.
