CT Technologist

Schedule

This position requires rotating shifts of 8 or 10 hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing complex imaging procedures utilizing Aquilion Toshiba 64 slice scanners. You will work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during examinations, as well as provide high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will average 80-100 patient exams per day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans and assist with diagnostic imaging.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the Cerner charting system.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines in radiation exposure.
• Collaborate with medical staff to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid ARRT (CT) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Radiation badge provided by agency (facility will not provide).
• 50-mile radius rule applies for submissions.
• All background hits must be disclosed at the time of submission.
