Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Night Shift: 3x12 (19:00 - 07:30) with weekend requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have experience in adult critical care and emergency room settings, with a preference for NICU experience. Our facility is a Level II Trauma Center, and we require professionals who can float between like units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and support for patients in critical care and emergency settings.
• Administer aerosol medications and perform procedures such as intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy management.
• Monitor and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and respond to patient needs accordingly.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment and techniques in the treatment of patients.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in critical care and emergency settings.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT, NRP preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Ability to provide care for a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics.
