Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team in a teaching hospital setting. The ideal candidate will work in ICU/NICU and provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to adults. Candidates must be prepared to respond to code situations effectively and possess the agility to handle a variety of respiratory assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and management of respiratory issues.
• Respond to codes, ensuring high-quality care for patients in critical conditions.
• Utilize equipment and technology effectively, including PB980, EV300, and Airvo.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, particularly within ICU and NICU settings.
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS are required.
• AA in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent education.
