Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Weekend and holiday rotation required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in Cardiac Telemetry to join our progressive care unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients requiring cardiac surveillance and telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Provide peripheral line care and management.
• Administer medications and titrate drips as needed.
• Conduct EKG monitoring and adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Float to other Cone Health campuses as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Cardiac Telemetry setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Experience with titration of cardiac drips is necessary.
• PICC line management and peripheral line care experience required.
