Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries and improve their physical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress in accordance with treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families about exercise, mobility, and techniques to aid recovery.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
