Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

This is a contract position for up to 12 weeks.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience to provide high-quality respiratory care. The candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures, interacting with patients and healthcare staff effectively, and maintaining accurate patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and specialized treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Evaluate patients' respiratory status and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in patient education regarding respiratory health and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active Ohio RRT license in hand at the time of submission.
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a respiratory therapy role is required.
• Experience in various patient care settings preferred.
• Willingness to float between facilities as needed.
