Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive cardiopulmonary services. This role involves following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policy to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic care to both inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators
• Perform insertion of arterial lines and intubations
• Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas assessments

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have NBRC RRT or CRT certification
• Must have Ohio RT license
• Must have current ACLS & BLS certifications (through the American Heart Association)
