Job Description

The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and considerations for specific patient conditions and treatments. The role includes the ability to work independently in completing assignments while adhering to physician’s orders, standards of care, and hospital policies. The nurse supports individuals of all ages and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across various age groups.
• Maintain a current valid certification of required courses, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and others as detailed in the position description.
• Fulfill essential training requirements in trauma and emergency procedures within specified timelines.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license from any state (Arizona state license not required).
• Current certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (within one year of hire).
• Completion of Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within one year of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire.
