Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (06:45 - 17:00). On-call required 1-2 days per week, 1 weekend per month.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse to provide specialized care in the Cardiovascular OR. The ideal candidate will scrub and circulate for various cardiovascular surgical procedures, floating to General OR and other facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for all types of Cardiovascular surgery cases.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide holiday coverage as required.
• Document patient care and surgical procedures using the Cerner (Surginet) charting system.
• Deliver patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current PA nursing license required at the time of submission.
• 3+ years of experience in OR settings, with Level I Trauma experience preferred.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Ability to scrub and circulate for diverse Cardiovascular surgery procedures.
