Schedule

Nights, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) with the option to flex to a 4th shift if needed. Working a minimum of every other weekend (Friday-Saturday-Sunday).

Job Description

We are seeking experienced NICU Registered Nurses for a Level III and/or Level IV NICU setting. This role requires specialized nursing skills to care for neonates and infants in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates and infants within an intensive care environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:4.
• Respond to medical emergencies and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimized patient care.
• Utilize advanced nursing techniques and equipment, including ventilator management and other specialized procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required.
• NC State or Compact Licensure is required.
• Current certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and STABLE.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred, but not mandatory.
