Schedule

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (4x12 hour shifts)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required.

Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our MS/Tele unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, utilizing advanced skills in cardiac monitoring and emergency response. Applicants must be proficient in EPIC charting and have substantial experience in MS/Tele settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV therapy and blood products, managing peripheral lines effectively.
• Monitor cardiac patients and interpret dysrhythmias, responding swiftly to emergencies.
• Provide non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration.
• Conduct wound care, including the use of wound vacs.
• Utilize isolation precautions and maintain stringent safety protocols.
• Be responsive to rapid responses and code situations as a part of the code team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State RN license required (no pending licenses accepted).
• At least 1 year of experience in MS/Tele nursing.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response situations is essential.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is required.
