Schedule

Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM, with weekends as needed. No on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper cleaning, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment. This role is critical in maintaining a sterile environment and preventing infection.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, sterilization, and packaging of surgical instruments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes.
• Monitor sterilization equipment for proper functionality.
• Assist in inventory management of sterile supplies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Sterile Processing Tech credentials required.
• Experience with EHR-EPIC is preferred.
• Completion of relevant health history and immunization records is required.
