7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend and holiday support requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care RN to join our ICU/PCU team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a Medical ICU setting, demonstrating comfort with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management. You will work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU/PCU.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Assist healthcare providers with bedside procedures, including chest tube insertion and intubations.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Cerner system.
• Adhere to all unit policies and guidelines, including mandatory bedside shift reports.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Medical ICU experience in a large facility.
• Comfortable and experienced with ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
• Critical care pharmacology knowledge (IV sedation, paralytics, vasopressors, etc.).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
