Physical Therapist - Outpatient Services

Full-time hours with day shifts, including every other Saturday and holiday coverage.

Job Description

Physical Therapists are responsible for evaluating patients referred for physical therapy treatment, developing treatment plans and goals, and administering physical therapy treatments. In addition to working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, the role requires collaboration with various hospital departments and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care with 45-minute appointments each hour.
• Perform evaluation tests and measurements based on the patient's diagnosis.
• Develop treatment plans, reassess, and revise them at least every 6 weeks based on patient progress.
• Utilize appropriate physical therapy techniques and modalities based on diagnoses.
• Document patient progress reports in a timely manner for compliance and physician follow-up.
• Share coverage for inpatient care on select holidays and Sundays.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of PT experience preferred.
