Job Description

The Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) position involves working in a busy 600+ Level I Trauma Center as a mobile Wound Care RN. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in an acute setting, with an emphasis on wound care management. The position entails working 4 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours a week, with varied days.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert wound care management in an acute healthcare setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on wound care techniques and preventive measures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent Wound Care experience, with experience in the last 12 months.
• Active nursing license to practice with no disciplinary actions.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Flu vaccination status must be provided; medical and religious exemption forms available upon request.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
