Job Description

The nurses in our Progressive Critical Care Unit care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients in our region. Responsibilities include managing patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications. Candidates must be competent in advanced hemodynamics, including pressor usage and titration protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer medications and treatments including antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, and thrombo-embolytics.
• Utilize advanced monitoring techniques including CVP, EVD, and ortho traction.
• Implement infection prevention protocols and manage complex care situations.
• Provide care involving HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent transition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Epic experience is required.
• ACLS certification.
• Experience in large-scale adult PCU and community hospital ICU.
• Navy blue scrubs required.
