Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11pm EST; holidays, on call, callback per unit needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will efficiently operate MRI equipment, ensure patient comfort during scans, and collaborate with healthcare providers to guarantee timely results.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedures to ensure comfort.
• Insert IVs when necessary for tests.
• Document all procedures while maintaining confidentiality.
• Perform patient care tasks as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two (2) years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with GE scanners is mandatory.
• Level 1 trauma center experience preferred.
• ARRT certification required.
• Injection certification required.
• NYS Rad Tech license—must be willing to obtain after starting.
