MRI Technologist

Schedule

Monday to Friday, from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Alternative schedule of 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM may be considered.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a proficient MRI Technologist responsible for performing routine MRI exams on inpatient, ICU, and emergency room patients. This role will utilize both 3T Siemens Skyra and 1.5T Siemens Symphony MRI scanners in a 450-bed hospital environment. Technologists will not be responsible for breast MRI, cardiac MRI, or prostate MRI.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform MRI scans as per established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide superior patient care.
• Maintain equipment and reporting standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in MRI scanning.
• ARRT certification or ARMRIT certification is preferred.
• Active NY state license with contrast injection capability.
• Current BLS certification.
