Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on the Medical/Surgical unit. This role requires flexibility to float between departments as needed. Working amidst a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to the elderly, you will manage various critical care situations involving ventilators, titratable drips, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and those requiring titratable drips.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as intubations and chest tube insertions.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current NY RN license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
• Experience in critical care environments preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
