Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic, spine, robotic, and general surgeries. The RN must be skilled in circulating for various surgical procedures and demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Epic for charting.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in orthopedic, spine, robotics, and general surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
• Administer medications and manage patient care pre, during, and post-surgery.
• Utilize Epic for patient documentation and charting.
• Implement infection control procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Current RN license (State or Compact) required at the time of submittal.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
• Previous charge experience is advantageous.
• Strong experience in orthopedic procedures, including spinal and robotic surgeries.
