Orthopedic Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

This position requires a day shift covering 4x10-hour shifts from 06:30 - 17:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) who is proficient in circulating for various surgical procedures, including orthopedics, spine, robotics, and general surgery. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong orthopedic experience and be familiar with Epic charting.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in orthopedic, spine, robotics, and general surgery cases.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols during surgeries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient education.
• Maintain a sterile environment and manage surgical tools effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an operating room setting.
• Current RN license (State or Compact) required at the time of submittal.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
