Neuro Stepdown RN - Night Shift

Night shift: 18:45 - 07:15.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neuro Stepdown RN to provide exceptional care to our patients during the night shift. This role requires a teamwork approach and adherence to the highest standards of professional behavior in all interactions with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Titrate LEVO and insulin drips as necessary.
• Ensure cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills are applied effectively.
• Manage complex neurological and medical conditions, including but not limited to post-neurosurgery care and seizure disorders.
• Administer IV therapy and manage phlebotomy needs.
• Provide comprehensive patient care following established protocols and guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience is required.
• Must possess current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Telemetry experience and proficiency with EKG interpretation are necessary.
• EPIC experience is required for charting and patient management.
