Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Schedule

Day shift, 12 hours per day, 3 days a week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our float pool. The position involves working primarily in a very busy Emergency Department, where the nurse will care for boarder patients, which may include medical/surgical, stepdown, or ICU patients. There may be occasions where the registered nurse will be asked to float to an acute unit as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
• Monitor and manage boarder patients effectively.
• Float to acute units as needed based on patient care requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sized Level 1 trauma facility.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• Resume with no gaps, an ED skills checklist, and references from the Emergency Department required.
