RN Infusion Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified RN Infusion Specialist to join our 65 chair Outpatient Infusion Center. The specialist will provide intravenous treatments to a diverse patient population, focusing on chemotherapy and hazardous drug administration, along with central line care and management.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and hazardous drugs following safety protocols.
• Provide central line care and management.
• Perform implanted port access and blood product administration.
• Conduct peripheral IV placement and monitoring of patient responses.
• Utilize specialized equipment, including Plum IV Pump and CADD Pump.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in infusion nursing.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with chemotherapy administration.
• ONS certification preferred.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system is essential.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
