Registered Nurse - Acute Medicine Unit (MedSurg)

Schedule

This position is scheduled for 12-hour night shifts, specifically from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, on a 12x3 rotating schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care within the Acute Medicine Unit, focusing on MedSurg patients. The role requires a minimum of two years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and administer medication.
• Monitor and assess patient health status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in MedSurg nursing.
• AHA BLS and NIH Certification are required.
• AHA ACLS certification is preferred.

Holiday Expectations

Candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
