Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on the 2 South Surgical/Trauma unit, specializing in post-operative and trauma patient care. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to manage post-operative care and ensure optimal recovery for patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive post-operative care management to surgical and trauma patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and progress, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in med/surg or orthopedic nursing required.
• Experience in post-operative care and trauma preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
