Respiratory Therapist – NICU/PICU

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Preference scheduling is permitted with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the NICU/PICU. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to provide comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients, utilizing a variety of advanced respiratory equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Administer all aspects of respiratory care, including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, and various ventilators (Hamilton and Servo).
• Conduct airway management and intrahospital transport for critically ill patients.
• Provide care for patients in NICU and PICU settings.
• Collaborate with medical personnel in patient treatment plans and interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in PICU and/or level 4 or greater NICU.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• RRT preferred; CRT acceptable.
