Respiratory Therapist - 12 Hour Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts are 12 hours overnight, 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, including weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care in a variety of patient settings, including Inpatient, Emergency Room, and Rehabilitation departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering respiratory treatments, managing respiratory equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage respiratory therapy treatments.
• Perform capillary sticks and ABGs.
• Assisting with intubations as required.
• Maintain and manage respiratory therapeutic equipment.
• Participate in patient assessment and care planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3-4 years of clinical experience preferred; new travelers are welcome to apply.
• Must possess valid Respiratory Therapist credentials (RRT or CRT accepted).
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
• WV CARES certification required prior to start.
