Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit. Candidates must possess experience in post-cardiac catheterization and be able to start within 10 days to qualify for the rapid response rate. The ideal candidate will work with a diverse cardiac patient population and demonstrate a positive attitude and strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry and progressive care setting.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and reactions to medications.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the EHR (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in telemetry or progressive care preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Post-cardiac cath experience is mandatory.
