Registered Nurse - Med-Surg

Schedule

Weekly Monday Orientations, 19:00 - 07:00 shift with a rotating weekend schedule. Guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med-Surg unit, primarily serving adult and geriatric patients. This position involves providing high-quality care, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment plans are followed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med-Surg setting.
• Monitor and document patient health status, including vital signs and responses to treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg experience required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Registered Nurse license in the relevant state is required.
