Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a challenging and fast-paced unit. This position is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with cardiac and stroke diagnoses, including pre and post procedural support.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient caseload of 5-6 with the potential to support surge needs.
• Administer cardiac drips, manage telemetry, and provide pre/post care for cardiac procedures.
• Conduct thorough assessments and provide interventions for cardiac and stroke patients.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers, supported by a team lead.
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies following established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar high-acuity setting.
• ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Telemetry experience is mandatory; PCU experience preferred but not required.
