Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Schedule

DAYS - 12HR: 7A-7P. Options for 36 and 48 hours available per week. Weekend shifts: 1 per week or 2 every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery unit with 10 beds. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care to labor and delivery patients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal well-being.
• Perform assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Assist in the delivery process and postpartum care for mothers and infants.
• May float to mother/baby, NBN, and/or the OR as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery required.
• Active NY RN license.
• Certifications must include AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and C-efm fetal monitoring.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
