Registered Nurse - Infusion Center

Position requires a Day 5x8-Hour schedule with variable hours from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care in an infusion center environment, specializing in outpatient oncology and delivering chemotherapy and other treatments for patients with solid tumors, lymphomas, chronic leukemia, and other hematological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and manage treatments for patients with various cancer diagnoses.
• Conduct bone marrow aspirations and intravesicular chemotherapy.
• Monitor and support patients undergoing infusion therapies.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and side effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams for optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an infusion center or outpatient oncology.
• BLS and ONS/ONCC certification required.
• ACLS and OCN certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Charge RN experience is preferred.
