Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neurosciences Unit. The unit provides quality care to patients with neurological conditions, ensuring adherence to clinical excellence standards. The position requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care and coordinate nursing activities on the unit
• Perform assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
• Provide education and resources to patients and families regarding care and recovery

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Experience in a neuroscience or medical-surgical unit is preferred
