Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a busy emergency department with a focus on team collaboration and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and care in a high-volume emergency department setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and reactions to treatments.
• Assist with advanced procedures and emergency interventions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Cerner documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
• Must possess an active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Certifications required before starting: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS; ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and high-volume emergency department is preferred.
