Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

The Travel Medical Surgical RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation of patient progress utilizing Cerner EMR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in Cerner.
• Provide patient education and support to families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
