Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. This role supports the Radiologist and assists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
• Assist the Radiologist as required.
• Provide quality imaging to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, ARRT, or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Minimum of one year of acute, clinical radiology experience.
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
• Current BCLS certification.
• CT/Fusion Certification is required.
