Radiology Technologist

Schedule

This is a day shift position, working Monday through Friday, from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM. There are no weekends or call requirements.

Job Description

The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, including managing cases of 8-10 patients per day. The technologist is expected to demonstrate strong myocardial knowledge and skills, utilizing GE and Siemens equipment while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures as per protocols and standards.
• Administer pharmacological stress tests and manage adenosine infusion when necessary.
• Document and manage patient information using the EPIC charting system.
• Ensure compliance with policies regarding the handling and disposal of radioactive materials.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of one year of experience in radiology is required; first-timers are accepted.
• Active New Jersey state license is required prior to the start of employment.
• ARRT (N) or CNMT certification is mandatory.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with EPIC charting and a solid understanding of both GE and Siemens systems.
