Level II Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shift schedule including day, evening, and night shifts, with every other weekend and holiday on-call requirements. No straight shift schedules are available.

Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for providing competent care based on established standards through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research. This role may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to patients.
• Assume various roles such as charge nurse and preceptor as needed.
• Ensure compliance with established clinical standards and protocols.
• Participate in clinical practice improvement initiatives and committees.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Telemetry experience is mandatory.
