Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.

Job Description

A Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will provide high-risk antepartum care for pregnant patients requiring close monitoring or specialized treatment prior to labor and delivery. Responsibilities include managing conditions such as high blood pressure, preeclampsia, preterm labor, vaginal bleeding, and other complications related to pregnancy, including multiple gestations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor mother and fetus during antepartum phase.
• Administer medications and perform interventions as necessary.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and clinical standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Labor and Delivery experience.
• Active BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Basic Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• Permanent Ohio RN License or a Compact State RN license required.
• Reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required.
