ICU Registered Nurse

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with 48 hours per week available.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse with a necessary proficiency in Epic electronic medical records and the ability to provide exceptional care in a high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in varied ICUs, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and progressive critical care unit (PCCU).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients across multiple specialties.
• Float between different ICU areas as needed, including ED and PACU awaiting bed placement.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have previous travel nurse experience.
• Experience in a Level I trauma center is highly desired.
• Active RN license required.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
