Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with critical care experience to join our dynamic team. This position requires Epic experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care in various Intensive Care Units (ICUs).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients in neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and progressive critical care units (PCCU).
• Float between different ICU units as needed and assist patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct competency assessments within 24 hours of submission for compliance validation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience, particularly in level I trauma centers preferred.
• Ability to float to various ICU specialties is highly desired.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required.
• Epic experience is mandatory.

Schedule

This position is scheduled for 48 hours per week, with shifts from 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Note that local candidates from ineligible counties will not be accepted starting January 11, 2024.
