Medical Lab Scientist - Point of Care Testing

Shift: Sunday to Tuesday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description

The Medical Lab Scientist will be responsible for performing point of care testing in the emergency room setting. The successful candidate will also assist with clerical duties as assigned by nursing and lab leadership to support efficient operations in the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform point of care testing procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct clerical duties as assigned by nursing and lab leadership.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST have ASCP certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or equivalent.
• Full licensure required; associates-level licenses will not be accepted.
• Experience with point of care testing preferred.
