Mixed schedule: Saturday 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Sunday 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) to join our team in the Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will possess a full MLS certification through ASCP or an equivalent organization. The role involves Point of Care Testing in a fast-paced environment while assisting nursing and lab leadership with clerical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform Point of Care Testing (POC) as directed.
• Conduct clerical duties supporting FSED operations as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with nursing and lab staff on patient care activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MLS certification through ASCP or equivalent – FULL LICENSE REQUIRED, not associates.
• Experience with Point of Care knowledge preferred.
