Physical Therapist

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with optional consideration for a 36-hour week including Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist plans and administers medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to help restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part. This position requires the ability to stand and sit continuously (90% of the time) and may involve exposure to infectious diseases. The role also requires reaching with hands and arms and the ability to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatment programs to restore patient functionality.
• Evaluate patient conditions and document treatment progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individual treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current Michigan Physical Therapy License.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
