Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:00). Flexibility for four 10-hour days if needed.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality care in an acute care setting. The role requires handling more than 8 patients per day, conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions. Candidates must be able to work during upcoming major holidays, with a requirement of working 2 of 3 holidays if the contract extends over these dates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patient conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals and rehabilitation processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care settings.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in PA or holding a Compact PT Licensure.
• EPIC experience required.
• Availability to work on major holidays.
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility; notification required prior to submission.
