Pediatric Oncology Nurse

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM / 36 hours scheduled / 24 hours guaranteed. Weekends and holidays required.

Job Description

Seeking a qualified Pediatric Oncology Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 24 months of experience in Pediatric Oncology within the last 12 months. Responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care to pediatric oncology patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months Pediatric Oncology nursing experience in the last 12 months.
• Active APHON certification.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
