Pediatric Registered Nurse

Schedule

This is a night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates are scheduled for 36 hours, with a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours per week. Weekends, holidays, and floating to various departments may be required based on facility guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 24 months of pediatric nursing experience, with at least 12 months of recent experience. The nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients, ensuring compliance with all operational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in pediatric settings.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and health conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Work collaboratively within the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care activities and outcomes in compliance with regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of pediatric nursing experience required.
• Current active license to practice as a registered nurse.
• Life support certifications: BLS and PALS from approved vendors (AHA, ARC, ASHI).
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license for residency verification.
